| Job Summary: | Gremmer & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our office in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin or Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The applicant will be responsible for preparing and designing plans, specifications, reports and other documents for public and private clients throughout Wisconsin. Responsibilities related to client relations and oversight of design team members will be based on previous experience. Responsibilities – Design of rural and urban transportation projects – Design of municipal infrastructure projects – Assist with storm water analysis – Preparation of design reports and permits – Preparation of plans, specifications and bidding documents – Develop and monitor project schedules and deliverables |
| Qualifications: | – Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil Engineering – 4+ years of relevant engineering experience – Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year – Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office – Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation design process |
| Job Title: | Civil Engineering Technician |
| Location: | Fond du Lac, Stevens Point, Germantown, Wisconsin |
| Job Summary: | Observe construction operations; perform site inspections; complete engineering calculations; assist with project documentation to ensure construction conforms to plans & specifications, conduct surveys (level loops, cross sections, topography, etc.); and draft & interpret plans. The candidate will gain hands-on experience along with technical & consulting training by assisting with construction administration. |
| Job Requirements: | Qualified candidates will be working towards an A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology or B.S. in Civil Engineering with interest in design and construction of roadways & bridges. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), and surveying equipment preferred. Candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to engage in discussion with team members and other internal/external stakeholders. Must possess ability to work outdoors and have an operable, licensed vehicle with flexibility to move between job sites in the Central & Western Wisconsin areas. Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2024, from mid-May through Mid-August. We are looking to hire to prepare for our 2024 construction season!
